Dr. Blake Weaver grew up in Canyon, Texas, and wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as he can remember. He received a degree in animal science from West Texas A&M University in 2019 and a DVM from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. While there, he was a member of a mentoring and community outreach leadership group for the College. His veterinary interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, as well as internal and emergency medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Weaver joined our team in 2023.
He believes that the bond formed between veterinarians and their patients goes beyond words and provides a sense of fulfillment that only comes from protecting and safeguarding the animals that bring so much happiness into our lives.
Dr. Weaver and his wife Alexis, who is a third-grade teacher, share their home with a rescue dog named Annie and a cat named Luna. They are best friends and both hate going to the vet. Dr. Weaver enjoys anything sports related and spends most of his free time with his wife and pets or playing golf.
